Job DescriptionProperty Ambassador Job DescriptionJob SummaryThe Property Ambassador will be responsible for providing the highest level of personalized guest service by welcoming our guests in a friendly manner while monitoring and controlling the guest access to areas of the resort.
Essential Job Functions
Staff various Ambassador Podiums throughout the resort.
Monitor and control guest access to appropriate tower by checking Hotel Keys. Assist with directions to their accommodations.
Acknowledge and greet all guests with utmost courtesy and urgency, moving out from behind the podium to interact and assist guests.
Utilize all resources available to ensure full knowledge and understanding of the property, to provide an exceptional service experience for our guest.
Proactively answer questions about resort facilities, dining options and local area attractions.
Uphold the resort’s family style service and ensuring a consistent positive experience for all guests.
Collaborate and assist departments with special requests.
Ensure the podium and area is kept neat, clean and organized. Report any concerns such as engineering issues, cleanliness, etc. in the resort.
Be knowledgeable of on-property menus as well as local current restaurants, spas, attractions and events (concerts, theater, sporting events, special events, and more.)
Assure prompt and positive action on all guest complaints, questions, concerns and suggestions.
Be knowledgeable of the Total Rewards Program; communicating benefits of the program to all guests.

Qualification/Requirements
One year of experience in a guest service role within a luxury hotel environment required.
Must be flexible and able to work weekends, nights and holidays to support peak hours of operation.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, always maintaining professionalism.
Tolerates loud noise and potential secondhand smoke.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time – greater than 6 hours or more.
Knowledge of Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond standards, and multi-lingual abilities are preferred.
EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
HS diploma or GED.
One or more years of appropriate experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
